Jammu, 28 July (H.S.): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) state president, Darshan Rana along with BSP state coordinator Sunil Majotra, Charanjit Chargotra, general secretary Raja Singh, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Haji Shak Mohammad, district president Raman Kumar and Tarsem Lal and other state unit leaders participated in the one-day workers’ conference organized by the BSP at Jalandhar in Punjab to strengthen the organization in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

Bahujan Samaj Party’s chief national coordinator, Akash Anand was present as the chief guest on the occasion while while national coordinator Randhir Singh Beniwal along with many senior leaders were present in the conference.

J&K unit president Darshan Rana discussed in detail with the party chief national coordinator Akash Anand about the activities being carried out by BSP across the UT and told him that the party is working day and night to strengthen the BSP at the grassroots level. He said that many people have been given party membership under the fresh campaign.

Rana said that for the last two months, review meetings are being held with workers in every assembly constituency of Jammu and Kashmir and workers are being appealed to take the party’s policies to the people. Apart from this, the party is continuously selecting those people in the rural and urban areas of Jammu and Kashmir who can participate on behalf of the party in the Panchayat and Municipal elections.

Anand praised the party leadership in J&K for continuing the party’s activities in JKUT in a better way and said that he is constantly getting information that the party is moving forward strongly in that region. He said that we need to spread the ideas of party founder Kanshiram and party supremo Mayawati to the people and for this the workers will have to play their active role.
