Basseterre, July 26(HS): Tim David's explosive century led Australia to a 6-wicket victory over West Indies in the third T20 match, securing a 3-0 series lead. At Warner Park, David scored his first international century in just 37 balls, hitting 11 sixes and 6 fours, setting a record as the fastest century for Australia in T20 cricket, previously held by Josh Inglis at 43 balls. This innings ranks as the third-fastest T20 century globally, with only Rohit Sharma and David Miller achieving quicker centuries. David formed a notable partnership with Mitchell Owen (36* off 16 balls), totaling 128 runs and guiding Australia to 215/4 in 16.1 overs.

West Indies batted first, posting 214/4 in 20 overs, led by captain Shai Hope's century (102* off 57 balls) and a 125-run opening partnership with Brandon King (62 off 36 balls). Australia's top order struggled, but David's explosive performance changed the game. Romario Shepherd took 2 wickets for West Indies.

David, receiving a reprieve at 90 runs, finished with a four for his century. Hope remarked the target was insufficient given the pitch conditions. This win marked Australia's sixth consecutive victory in the West Indies, complemented by a recent Test series clean sweep.
