New Delhi, July 24(HS): Positive signals are evident in the global market today, with U.S. markets closing higher in the last session, although Dow Jones futures are currently down. The S&P 500 rose by 0.78 percent, finishing at 6,358.91 points, while NASDAQ gained 0.61 percent, ending at 21,020.02 points.

European markets continued their upward trend, as the FTSE closed up 0.42 percent at 9,061.49 points, the CAC surged by 1.35 percent to 7,850.43 points, and the DAX increased by 0.82 percent, reaching 24,240.82 points.

In Asia, a generally bullish atmosphere is observed, with seven of nine indices trading in the green. The GIFT Nifty is down 0.10 percent, while the SET Composite Index decreased by 0.23 percent.

Conversely, the Straits Times Index rose by 0.67 percent, and the Hang Seng Index gained 0.41 percent. The Nikkei index in Tokyo is showing considerable strength, up 1.74 percent at 41,889 points, fueled by excitement from a recent U.S.-Japan trade deal. The Jakarta Composite, Shanghai Composite, KOSPI, and Taiwan Weighted indices all show positive movement, confirming an overall optimistic trend in Asian markets today.
