PM Modi acknowledges the warm reception from the Indian community in the UK and notes the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership that has seen significant advancements across various sectors, such as trade, investment, technology, and health.
In a seperate post on X,PM Modi wrote, Touched by the warm welcome from the Indian community in the UK. Their affection and passion towards India’s progress is truly heartening.
His discussions with Prime Minister Keir Starmer will focus on further economic collaboration.Additionally, PM Modi will meet King Charles III during his visit.
Following London, he will travel to the Maldives to participate in the 60th anniversary of the country's independence and the diplomatic relations between India and the Maldives. He aims to discuss a Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership with President Muizzu to enhance cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region, expressing confidence that the visit will yield positive outcomes for both nations and support his Neighbourhood First Policy.
