Sanjeev Singh Rinku elected as new President of Yuva Rajput Sabha

Srinagar, 21 July (H.S.): In a sudden decision after the apex core committee meeting, Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) today announced Sanjeev Singh Rinku as new President of the Sabha.

Immediately after the announcement in this regard by Raghubir Singh, Chairman of YRS during a hurriedly called press conference, Sanjeev Singh Rinku was formally `coronated’ by the outgoing President, Vikram Singh Vicky, in the presence of the Sabha’s senior leadership, core committee members and others.

Talking to media persons, Raghubir Singh said that the Core Committee unanimously resolved to appoint Sanjeev Singh Rinku as president of YRS. “Sanjeev Singh Rinku is not only a dedicated soldier of the Sabha but also a man of the people. We have seen his journey from the grassroots. His appointment assures us that the Sabha’s future is in safe hands. I call upon all members to support him wholeheartedly and work together for a stronger community,” he said.

Raghubir Singh further informed that the Core Committee has also taken serious note of the internal indiscipline and unanimously decided to expel Mandeep Singh (Ex-Senior Vice President, YRS) who was found guilty of engaging in anti-Sabha activities, harming the spirit and unity of the organization.

“The Core Committee has unanimously resolved to expel him from the basic membership of Yuva Rajput Sabha with immediate effect. The Sabha reiterates its zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline and actions that undermine its credibility or harmony,” he said.

Besides outgoing president Vikram Singh Vicky, YRS former presidents Surinder Singh Gilli, Rajveer Singh and Rajan Singh Happy were also present on the occasion.

Pertinent to mention that Mandeep Singh had last night announced himself as president of YRS claiming support of majority members of the Core Committee.

The newly elected president Sanjeev Singh Rinku said that he was deeply humbled by the trust placed on him by the Core Committee, senior leaders, and the entire Rajput youth community. I promise to lead with unity, energy, and a clear vision to make Yuva Rajput Sabha a beacon of strength for our community,” he added.
