Bhandara, 21 July (HS): A police personnel was

seriously injured when a tractor trolley carrying sand illegally tried to injure

him when confronted by the police. The incident occurred in Belgaon, and

Khamari area near the Vainganga River in Bhandara district.

Based on reliable information about the illegal excavation of sand, the Kardha police rushed to the site. The sand in 14 tractors

with trollies was found transporting sand without any permission. A tractor

suddenly tried to kill a police personnel under a tractor. A leg bone was

broken in the incident. He was admitted to a hospital. Polce seased materials

worth Rs 82.78 lakh, including sand and vehicles.
