Tripti Dimri recently appeared with Rajkummar Rao in 'Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video' and is returning in the emotional love story 'Dhadak-2,' opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi. Slated for an August 1 release, the trailer highlights serious themes like casteism and has garnered positive reviews, generating significant audience anticipation for the film.

Tripti Dimri recently had a special conversation with 'Hindusthan Samachar,' where she openly talked about her career, the character she plays in this film, and the balance between work and personal life. In this conversation, Tripti shared several interesting insights related to the film.

Q: What would you like to say about your fantastic comeback?

I feel incredibly grateful for the audience's trust in me. Watching the 'Dhadak-2' trailer repeatedly made me emotional, especially reading the positive comments. As an actor, appreciation for our work is the ultimate achievement. Our purpose is to entertain, and when we connect with viewers, it helps us understand their preferences, motivating us to enhance our craft. I pride myself on my films and aim to give my all to each project, telling unique stories. Playing different characters is crucial to avoid monotony and maintain my passion. The next film post-'Dhadak-2' will showcase this diversity, which I believe fuels creative energy.

Q: Did this film shake you or challenge you?

Absolutely, this film has posed significant challenges due to its demanding script. Tackling a serious love story with a social message requires honesty and sensitivity; the discerning audience expects authenticity. We have worked hard and focused on every scene to ensure our performances feel genuine. Several moments required emotional breakdowns, which took a toll on our mental health. Our director provided invaluable support, helping me regroup when emotions ran high. It's essential to feel good internally to perform well on screen, so maintaining happiness and balance was crucial during filming. Portraying this character was difficult, yet we embraced and enjoyed every aspect of the process wholeheartedly.

Q: Will this film bring about a change in people's mindset?

Yes,Any societal change stems from knowledge and understanding. Without recognizing right from wrong, how can one act towards change? If our film can spark awareness, it signifies success. Although we may reject casteism, it persists in society. If our narrative reaches those who cling to such beliefs and stirs realization, it could initiate significant change. Immediate transformation isn't essential; even planting doubt about their beliefs is valuable. The honesty and truth reflected in our film will resonate with audiences, potentially opening minds and fostering a shift in perspective towards a more equitable understanding.

Q: Is it necessary to have work-life balance in life?

Maintaining a work-life balance is crucial in every profession, including acting. I prioritize balancing my professional and personal life by spending free time with family and friends, which brings me happiness and peace. I also enjoy playing tennis and painting, as these hobbies help me stay mentally calm. Continuous work can lead to fatigue and boredom, so it's essential to break routines and refresh ourselves regularly. Emphasizing downtime ensures we can recharge and remain engaged in both work and personal pursuits.
