Chandauli,
21 July (HS): On Monday, a 25-year-old man reportedly shot himself to death
with his father's licensed rifle at his house in the Sakaldiha neighborhood,
according to police. Sandeep Yadav aka Rinku died while living in Pachkhari
village with his father, Ramesh Yadav, a former district panchayat member. On
Monday morning, the women of the household went to a neighboring temple, while
Ramesh's oldest son attended a privately operated school near the house. According to authorities, Sandeep was alone
at home when the gunshot rang out from the top floor.
Family
members went into Sandeep's room and saw him lying in a pool of blood, with the
gun nearby. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where physicians
confirmed him dead. Police were also
involved. Sakaldiha SHO Atul Prajapati stated that a firearm licensed in the
name of the deceased's father, Ramesh Prasad Yadav, was discovered at the spot.
Sandeep was married, with a four-year-old kid.
He stayed at home and worked in agriculture. According to Prajapati, the inquiry thus far
points to a family quarrel as the most likely cause of the terrible tragedy. Police
claimed that a postmortem examination is already ongoing.
