21 July (HS): A case has been registered on Monday at Katghar police
station against Yogendra Singh Rana, a resident of Moradabad, for making
objectionable comments against Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan from Kairana Lok
Sabha seat. SP leader Sunita Singh, a resident of Linepar in Majhola area of
the metropolis, in a complaint given to Katghar police station, had accused
Yogendra Singh Rana, who claimed to be the national vice president of Karni
Sena, of making objectionable comments against the MP from his own Facebook ID.
Two
days ago, a delegation led by Samajwadi Party's District President Jaiveer
Singh Yadav met Superintendent of Police Nagar Kumar Ranvijay Singh. During
this, SP leader Sunita Singh gave a complaint. Sunita Singh said that Yogendra
Singh Rana has publicly humiliated a female MP by making objectionable remarks.
This is against her dignity.
Meanwhile,
Yogendra Singh Rana, who calls himself the national vice president of Karni
Sena, again shared a post from his Facebook account on Sunday. In this, he has
refused to apologize for his comment on the MP. SP City Kumar Ranvijay Singh
said that a case has been registered against Yogendra Rana on Monday under
sections of BNS and IT Act.
