Srinagar, 21 July (H.S.): Acting on a specific complaint, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) South Kashmir today apprehended and arrested Patwari Mushtaq Ahmad Khatana of Chambgund, Kulgam, red-handed while accepting a bribe.

The complainant,of local person had approached ACB with allegations that the said Patwari was demanding a bribe amount of ₹30,000 for processing revenue-related work. Taking swift action, ACB laid a successful trap and caught the accused Patwari red-handed while accepting the bribe.

The accused has been taken into custody, and a formal case has been registered against him. Further investigations are underway.
