Islamabad, July 21 (H.S.): Security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the deaths of 17 terrorists, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and intelligence sources. In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand district between July 16 to 20, security forces, in collaboration with local police and Counter-Terrorism Department, neutralized nine India-backed terrorists and apprehended eight others during a four-day operation targeting the Fitna al-Khwarij group. Two militants’ hideouts were destroyed, and a significant cache of weapons was seized.
In Balochistan, security forces killed eight terrorists in two operations. Four terrorists were eliminated in a counter-terrorism operation in Pahrod targeting the group Fitna-e-Hindustan, which is linked to recent attacks. Another operation in Kalat resulted in the death of four terrorists, along with the recovery of arms and explosives. The military reiterated its commitment to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism and securing the region from further threats.
