Shivsagar (Assam), 2 July (HS): Two students are missing after drowning in the Dikho river of Shiv Sagar district. Search for both the students is going on. Due to the incident, an atmosphere of mourning prevails in the area.

Police said on Wednesday that two students of Sorokapaar Hathimuria area of the district, Ishwar Rangan Medhi and Purva Kashyap Dutt, were swept away in the strong current of the Dikho river while bathing. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the local police, local people and the SDRF team reached the spot and are continuously searching for the two students who drowned in the river.

Till the last information was received, nothing has been known about the two missing students.
