The previous day's European markets were similarly mixed; the FTSE increased by 0.28%, while the CAC slipped 0.04% and the DAX fell by 1%.
In Asia, trading is mixed as well, with six out of nine markets down. The GIFT Nifty is up slightly by 0.14%, and the Straits Times by 0.36%. The Hang Seng has gained 0.74%, while the Taiwan Weighted Index fell by 0.33%. The Jakarta Composite is down 0.48%, and the KOSPI has seen a notable decline of 1.25%. The Nikkei index decreased by 0.74%, and the SET Composite and Shanghai Composite exhibited minor losses of 0.17% and 0.04%, respectively. Overall, market sentiment shows a lack of consensus amid varying performances across regions.
