Jammu, 2 July (H.S.): Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, has constituted a three-member committee to investigate serious allegations against the Block Medical Officer (BMO), Gool. The complaints involve charges of harassment, extortion, and withholding of salaries.

As per an order issued by Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, the committee will be chaired by Dr Sanjay Kumar Sharma (Deputy Director, Dentistry). Other members include Dr Kamal Jee Zadoo (Chief Medical Officer, Ramban) and Shashi Paul (Assistant Accounts Officer, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu).

The panel has been directed to submit its report within 10 days, with clear remarks and recommendations based on the enquiry findings.
