Guwahati/New Delhi, 2 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Wednesday. The progress of major infrastructure projects of Assam was reviewed in the meeting with the Union Minister.

The Chief Minister said that cooperation has been sought from the Union Ministry of Road Transport to complete the important projects of the state in a timely manner. The Chief Minister told on social media that the Union Minister has assured full support and attention of the ministry in this direction.

The Chief Minister described the meeting as 'fruitful' and hoped that it would give new impetus to the infrastructure development of the state. --------
