18 July (HS): A shocking incident has come to light from Pilibhit district of

Uttar Pradesh. Here, the condition of four children of a family deteriorated

after consuming cold drink. Among them, a girl child died. Three are undergoing

treatment. In Pilibhit, some time after consuming cold drink, the condition of

four children of a family in village Nisara of Jehanabad area deteriorated. The

family immediately took all the children to a private hospital in the city,

where after some time one child died, while the treatment of the others is

going on.

Chaos

in the family: Soon after, the children started vomiting along with stomach

pain. This frightened the family. The children were immediately admitted to a

private hospital in the city, where Zoya died during treatment. However, death

of the girl caused chaos in the family. After receiving the information, the

police reached the spot. However, the family refused to make any allegations

nor was any written complaint lodged. Police Inspector Rajiv Kumar Singh said

that no written complaint has been lodged by the family.

The

police have seized the remaining samples of the cold drink and sent them for

forensic examination. According to police officials, no written complaint has

been received from the family so far, but if a complaint is received, legal

action will be taken.
