Delhi, 18 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm birthday greetings to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw .PM Modi praised Ashwini Vaishnaw for his contributions to India's progress in key sectors.

In a post on X ,PM Modi wrote,

Birthday wishes to Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji. He is making commendable efforts to boost India’s strides in the world of IT, innovation and also upgradation of vital infrastructure. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, born 18 July 1970, is an Indian politician, former IAS officer, and businessman. He serves as the 39th Minister of Railways, 35th Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and 2nd Minister of Electronics and Information Technology since 2024. Originally from Jeewand Kallan village in Pali district, Rajasthan, his family later moved to Jodhpur. He graduated from MBM Engineering College in 1991 with a gold medal in electronic and communications engineering and completed a master's at IIT Kanpur. In 2008, he pursued an MBA at Wharton. He has been a Rajya Sabha member from Odisha for the Bharatiya Janata Party since 2019.
