Guwahati, 18 July (HS): The Bashisht police of Guwahati City has arrested a notorious bike thief. Bashisht police recovered the bike stolen from Beharbari in Guwahati.

Bashisht police said that on the information of a secret source, Bashisht police raided Champupara market in Chhaygaon police station area and arrested 34-year-old thief Sahidul Ali. Based on the confession given by the thief, the police recovered the stolen bike (AS-01MB-2312) from near Batnapatti under Aloopatti police station in Barpeta.

It has been told that the arrested accused Sahidul Ali was giving sleepless nights to the common people by stealing bikes in various areas of Guwahati. Bashisht police has registered a case and started investigation in connection with the incident.
