18 July (HS): A Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha office bearer died when his
motorcycle collided with a stray bull in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district,
police reported Friday. They identified the dead as Rahul Dubey (27), a
resident of Bhusiyanwa village in Amethi's Munshiganj Police Station area. According
to authorities, the collision occurred on Thursday night near a dhaba on the
Amethi bypass, leaving him gravely injured. Dubey, who was riding his motorbike
home, was brought to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Amethi for treatment
following the accident, according to reports. His colleagues eventually rushed
him to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Munshiganj, where he died as a result of
injuries sustained during treatment, police said.

Kumar Singh, SHO of Amethi Police Station, said that the deceased's corpse had
been submitted for a post-mortem examination. Vishu Mishra, president of the
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha district unit, expressed regret at the tragedy,
noting that Dubey was the organization's district vice-president in Amethi.
