Delhi, 17 July (H.S.): A State Capacity Building Workshop was held for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and Deputy CISOs in Gangtok, Sikkim, organized by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) in collaboration with the state's Department of Information Technology on Wednesday. Tenzing T. Kaleon emphasized the evolving cybersecurity threats and the vital role of CISOs in protecting digital infrastructure.

Facilitated by Cert-In experts, the workshop aimed to enhance understanding of cybersecurity responsibilities and response strategies. It sought to build awareness, improve institutional capabilities, and encourage proactive measures for cyber hygiene and information security, aligning with the Cyber Surakshit Bharat initiative and Digital India mission for secure service delivery.
