Lucknow,
17 July (HS): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Uttar Pradesh Deputy
Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has targeted senior Congress leader Rahul
Gandhi while defending Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Deputy Chief
Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote on his social media account that the days
of arrogant politics of the Gandhi family are over.
He
further wrote that Rahul Gandhi, the stubborn leader of the Gandhi family, who
is roaming on bail in alleged corruption and other cases, misses jail a lot.
Now he is threatening to send Assam's popular Chief Minister Himanta Biswa
Sarma to jail who has played a major role in driving out the Congress not only
from Assam but from the entire north-eastern states. Gandhi should understand
that the days of his family's arrogant politics are over and the country is now
ruled by law.
It
is worth noting that a day earlier Rahul Gandhi had said that very soon our
lion will send the Chief Minister of Assam to jail. After this, many leaders of
the Bharatiya Janata Party have given statements in defense of the Chief
Minister of Assam.
