Charaideo (Assam), 15 July (HS) The drive of Sonari police against the banned organization United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) is continuing. In the drive of Charaideo police, ULFA (I) aides are being arrested one after the other. Sonari police has again arrested 7 ULFA (I) aides on Tuesday. Yesterday also, four ULFA (I) aides were arrested by Sonari police from different parts of the state.

According to Sonari police, the names of the arrested aides are Manoj Talukdar, Nima Tamang, Mamin Khan, Pawan Behera, Ramesh Das, Hafizuddin Nawab and Garamni Singh. Interrogation of Talukdar is going on in Sonari police station, while other ULFA (I) aides are being interrogated in the corresponding police station.
