Taipei (Taiwan), July 15 (HS): China continues its expansionist approach, evident from the incursion of 26 military aircraft and naval vessels into Taiwan's airspace and waters. Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense reported that 21 of the 26 aircraft crossed the median line, entering Taiwan's defense zones.

In response, Taiwan's armed forces deployed their aircraft, naval vessels, and missile systems, conducting nighttime runway repair exercises and live-fire drills on remote islands to improve readiness. This incident follows a similar breach on July 12, where 14 aircraft and nine vessels were also reported.

Additionally, China's mapping of the seabed around Taiwan may facilitate the laying of underwater cables with potential military uses, further heightening tensions in the region as Taiwan's defense continues to closely monitor these activities.
