Bhubaneswar, 13 July (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid heartfelt tribute to 'Karmaveer' Gourishankar Ray on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Remembering Ray’s invaluable contributions, Pradhan described him as one of the key architects behind the formation of a separate Utkal province and the founder-editor of the historic Odia newspaper Utkal Deepika.

“On the birth anniversary of 'Karmaveer' Gourishankar Ray, I pay my respectful homage to a visionary who played a pivotal role in shaping modern Odisha and promoting Odia identity,” Pradhan stated in his social media post.
