13 July (HS): The accused who made indecent and unruly remarks against the Hindu

deity Shri Ram was arrested and sent to jail by the police team under Sikrara

police station on Sunday.

Magistrate Sadar Parmanand Kushwaha said that a complaint was received on

social media platform X in which Vikram Kumar son of Uday Raj resident of

village Ugapur police station Sikrara district Jaunpur had made an indecent

comment on the idol of Hindu religion Shri Ram on social media ( in the name of

Vikrant ID). Taking cognizance of the complaint, the accused has been arrested

by Sikrara police station after immediately locating the accused and legal

action is being taken as per rules.
