Morigaon (Assam), 12 July (HS): Morigaon district police, with the help of Beloguri police station, conducted a successful operation and arrested two marijuana smugglers. The arrest was made from Ulubari Teeniyali area on Friday night.

The arrested smugglers have been identified as Rabbul Islam, a resident of Mairabari and Subhash Das, a resident of Kathoni, Lahorighat. Police have seized a total of 5.75 kg of marijuana, two mobile phones and a Bajaj Discover motorcycle bearing the number AS-13-A-4991 from them.

At present, Beloguri police is interrogating both the accused to get more information related to the smuggling network.
