Lucknow,

11 July (HS): This time a special initiative is being taken on World Youth

Skills Day in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. For the first time, a

two-day Yuva Kaushal Chaupal is being organized under the 'Skill

India - Super Power India' resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the

guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in which the youth who have become

self-reliant after getting training will share the changed story of their lives

with the public. Hundreds of youth trained by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development

Mission will be present in this program to be held on July 15 and 16, but the

opportunity to speak on the stage will be given to those 11 youth, who not only

got employment on the basis of skills, but also became a means of employment

for others. These youth will be honored as Skill Youth Icon in the

Chaupal.

Giving

information about this event, Minister of State for Skill Development

(Independent Charge) Kapil Dev Agarwal said that this platform will become a

powerful medium to spread the vision of Skill India to the people. This will

give the message to the youth of every village, every town that skill is the

real strength and it can help in moving towards self-reliance. Yuva Kaushal

Chaupal will not be just a program, but a youth motivation movement, where the

real heroes will be those youth who were once unemployed and today are

themselves providing employment to others.

After training, some started a

mobile repairing center, some a beauty parlor or digital studio. Some got a job

in a hotel, while some started their own cafe chain.

Mission

Director Pulkit Khare said that in the program, 11 excellent young men/women

selected from thousands of youth trained and employed by the mission in the

last three years will be given a platform, who will share their experiences as

young speakers in the Chaupal. This platform will not only increase their

confidence but will also strengthen the social acceptance of skill-based success.

All these talented employed youth will also be specially honored as

Kaushal Youth Icon. This honor will give the message to millions of

youth of the state that one can become self-reliant by acquiring skills. This

event will not only strengthen the confidence and identity of these youth, but

will also give a new height to the social acceptance of skill-based success.
