11 July (HS): On the first day of the holy month of Sawan, which is very dear
to Mahadev, the God of all gods who showers his blessings on the entire
inanimate and animate world, Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi
Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek and havan on Friday morning. After completing
the ritual of Rudrabhishek, he prayed to Lord Bhole Shankar for the welfare of
the inanimate and animate world and for the happiness and prosperity of all the
citizens.
“Hearty
congratulations to all the devotees and residents of the state on the holy
month of Shravan dedicated to the worship of Lord Bholenath! May the Supreme
Lord Mahadev bless the entire inanimate and animate world, this is my prayer,”
he posted on X.
On
Friday morning, CM Yogi performed Rudrabhishek with water, milk and seasonal
juice after offering several worship materials including Bilva Patra, Durva,
Madar Patra, Lotus flower to Lord Bholenath at Shaktipeeth located on the first
floor of his residence in Gorakhnath temple. The learned Acharyas and priests
of the monastery performed Rudrabhishek with the Mahamantras of Rudrashtadhyayi
of Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. After Rudrabhishek, Gorakshpeethadhiswar performed
havan amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. After the Rudrabhishek ritual completed
as per rituals, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished the people of the state a
healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful life.
