Golaghat (Assam), July 11 (HS): One person killed and another person was injured in a horrific road accident in Numaligarh Vishnupur Tiniyali. Police said on Friday that the incident occurred last night when a speeding truck hit the bike.

In the accident, a youth named Arju Takbi killed while being taken to the hospital, while another youth named Son Takbi was seriously injured.

Both the youths were working in Numaligarh Refinery and this accident occurred while returning home from work.

The local police have registered a case and started investigation.
