Delhi, 11 July (H.S.): The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, is organizing a Zonal Meeting on 12th July at Kevadia, Gujarat, to enhance Centre-State coordination toward the Viksit Bharat vision. Chaired by Union Minister Smt. Annpurna Devi, with the presence of Savitri Thakur and Bhanuben Babariya, the meeting will involve States and Union Territories such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Goa, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Attendees will include ministers and senior officials from relevant departments who will share best practices and successful interventions. The meeting will focus on strengthening flagship schemes like Mission Shakti and Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, with discussions on service delivery improvements and the integration of digital tools, including the Poshan Tracker and Face Recognition Systems (FRS).
Additionally, the Ministry will conduct a plantation drive under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, and delegates will explore local attractions, emphasizing a culturally integrated approach to development.
