Woman murder suspected: blood stains scattered, search for body in well


Kokrajhar (Assam), 10 July (HS): Sensation prevails over a heart-wrenching alleged murder incident in Nayakgaon South Amguri area of Kokrajhar. Suspected brutal murder of a woman named Sumi Kisku (40). However, the police have not been able to recover the body yet. Since morning, the police team is searching for the body of the woman inside the well.

Blood stains have been found after she was dragged from the room to the well. Due to which it has been speculated that the body must have been thrown in the well. This morning, when the family did not see Sumi Kisku in the house, they started searching for her. The family was shocked to see blood stains in the room. Following the blood trail, they reached a nearby well.

This incident created panic in the entire family. On receiving the information, the police and SDRF team reached the spot and started searching for the body in the well. Police sources have said that the well is very deep. Due to which there is difficulty in the search operation. The woman could not be traced till the last information was received. Police say that blood stains have ended near the well, due to which it is being speculated that the body must have been thrown into the well after the murder.

In connection with the investigation, the police have detained the youngest minor son living in the same room with Sumi Kisku for interrogation.

It is known that Sumi Kisku has three sons aged 21, 19 and 14. According to the information received, the younger son slept in the room with the mother last night. Sumi's husband Dena Kisku works in a rubber plantation. His duty is at night time.
