Mumbai, 10 July

(HS): The Maharashtra Special Public Security Bill, 2024, which was introduced

during the winter session of the State Legislature, 2024, was passed by a

in the state.

Chief Minister

is necessary to contain Maoism in the state. Earlier four districts in the

state were affected, now their activities have been restricted to only two

talukas.

The Communist

Party of India opposed the bill and it was put to vote. The bill was passed
