Bhubaneswar, 10 July (H.S.): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Odisha tomorrow for a one day tour, necessitating extensive security measures in the state capital, Bhubaneswar. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Jagmohan Meena has confirmed that a total of 53 platoons of police will be deployed to ensure his safety during the visit.

Security has been heightened from Bhubaneswar Airport to key locations, including Baramunda Ground, Congress Bhawan, and the Mayfair Hotel. Officials have also announced temporary changes to traffic regulations in light of the high-profile movement.

Rahul Gandhi is expected to participate in the ‘Save the Constitution’ programme organised by the Congress party at Baramunda Ground in Bhubaneswar. He will be joined by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party General Secretary K.C. Venugopal at the event.

After the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to hold discussions with senior party leaders at the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) office to review political strategies and organisational matters.
