Mainpuri, 8 June (HS): Ansh, a
five-year-old child, unfortunately perished after slipping down a 10-foot-deep
borewell in Akbarpur Jhala hamlet. He died at a district hospital after suffering
a serious neck cut. He was watching a wedding procession when the tragedy
occurred. According to local authorities, a five-year-old kid called Ansh died
from injuries after slipping into a 10-foot-deep borewell on Friday night.
Ansh, who was in the hamlet with his elder brother Chiku at their maternal
grandparents' house, was curiously watching a wedding procession when he
slipped and fell into the borewell. The subsequent fall caused a significant
neck injury. Despite the villagers' rapid efforts to rescue Ansh and get him to
the district hospital, medicos ruled him dead. There has been no official
complaint made regarding this unfortunate occurrence.
