
Aurraiya, 8 June (HS): Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the farmers and the general public
in the context of Developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan 2025 at Ajitmal College of
the district on Sunday, said that the production of maize crop has increased to
05 lakh hectares. For this, he thanked the Agriculture Department and
agricultural scientists. He said that today farmers are earning more than Rs 1
lakh per acre from maize cultivation. He said that the double engine government
has waived off loans of Rs 36,000 crores of 86 lakh farmers in 2017 and has
provided 15 lakh private tube wells and free electricity. He said that under
the PM Kusum Yojana, solar panel facility was provided to 01 lakh farmers.
Taking a jibe at the SP government, he said that the previous government only
insulted great men; the current government has constructed a medical college in
the name of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar.
He said that his government has
given 08 lakh jobs, the present government has provided 2.16 lakh jobs in the
police department alone, 1.60 lakh jobs in the education department. He said
that in the double engine government both daughters and businessmen are safe,
if someone wants to cast an evil eye then he should know that he might find
Yamraj standing at the next intersection. He said that his government has
sanctioned Rs. 272 crore for Police Line in Auraiya, Rs. 151 crore for Jalaun
Auraiya Bridge, Rs. 250 crore for District Court. He said that Modi government
is completing its 11 years on 09 June, all of you should keep supporting this
double engine government, and the government will always be ready for you with
open arms. Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi made farmers aware of the
benefits of maize cultivation and assured that his government is working
towards more improved food seeds.
Sadar MLA Gudiya Katheria said that
in the previous governments, even the tractors of the farmers used to get
stolen while taking them to the market, but in the BJP government, farmers are
happy, their daughters-in-law and their vermilion are safe. The Chief Minister
presented mini seed kit to Narayani Devi, a cheque of 24 lakhs to Rajesh Dixit,
a cheque of 5 lakhs to Reshu Kumari, acceptance letter of PM Awas to Suman, a
cheque of 10 lakhs for Panchayat fund to Guddi Devi, a cheque of 5 lakhs for
deceased farmer accident to Kanti Devi and a Gharonee certificate to Maan
Singh. Progressive farmers Gaurav Vishnoi, Mukesh Katiyar, Alok, Sunil Singh,
Shri Shankar Singh told in detail about their income.
The Chief Minister conducted an
aerial survey of the district and inspected the stalls. District Magistrate Dr.
Indramani Tripathi welcomed the Chief Minister by offering him a plough. In the
end, Minister of State for Agriculture Baldev Singh thanked everyone.
On this occasion, Minister in
charge of Auraiya Pratibha Shukla, former MP Ram Shankar Katheria, Rajya Sabha
MP Geeta Shakya, District President BJP Sarvesh Katheria, District Panchayat
President Kamal Dohre, Principal Secretary Agriculture, Additional Director
General of Police Alok Singh, Additional Inspector General of Police Harish
Chandra, Additional District Officer Mahendra Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor Chand
Shekhar Azad University Anand Kumar Singh along with various officers of the
district and a large number of farmers and workers were present.
