Sribhumi (Assam), 8 June (HS): A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in the Fanai tea garden area of Ramakrishnanagar area, where a 3-year-old eight-month-old child killed a painful death due to the falling of a tree branch. The name of the deceased child is said to be Sarthak Kari, and his father's name is Swapan Kari.
According to the information, at the time of the incident, the mother was washing the hands and feet of her son Sarthak, when suddenly a drumstick (moinga) tree nearby fell down. A heavy branch of the tree fell directly on the child, causing serious injury to him and he immediately fainted.
The family and neighbors immediately rushed the child to the hospital, but by then it was too late and the doctors declared him dead.
As soon as the news of this accident spread in the area, a wave of mourning ran across the area. Neighbors and local people are in deep mourning and are expressing condolences to the family.
