Muzaffarnagar, 7 June (HS): Sudhanshu,
a 23-year-old delivery boy from Haryana, was detained in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar
Pradesh, for distributing illicit guns.
Police found ten firearms produced locally, as well as a motorbike.
Sudhanshu is related to a network that spans Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and
Punjab, and he has a criminal record.
Sudhanshu was apprehended while on his way to transfer these firearms,
according to police. Within the jurisdiction of Ramraj police station,
authorities discovered ten country-made pistols, a motorbike, and live
ammunition from his possession.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police
Sanjay Kumar, Sudhanshu was part of a wider weaponry distribution network that
operated throughout Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, along with six
other people who are still absconding and efforts are being made to trace their
whereabouts at the earliest. He also has
a criminal past, with five open cases against him.
