Lucknow, 7 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya attacked the Congress leader and
said that the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has become
completely 'unbridled' and the direction of his statements is now clearly
against the national interest.
The way Rahul Gandhi repeatedly makes baseless
allegations on the Indian Army; puts him in the role of a spokesperson of
Pakistan, not a responsible MP. He said that Rahul Gandhi's tone is neither in
line with the people of the country, nor does it match with the spirit of
India's sovereignty and security, rather the 'dictation' of foreign powers is
clearly visible in his language and gestures.
Maurya said that whenever India
conducts a surgical strike or air strike against Pakistan, Rahul Gandhi's
'tongue becomes Pakistani'. He said that Rahul Gandhi often insults the valour
and sacrifice of our soldiers by questioning the valour of the country's army.
Whenever India takes decisive action against terrorism, whenever our army gives
a befitting reply to the enemies, then leaders like Rahul Gandhi start worrying
more about Pakistan and international lobbies than India.
He also said that Congress leaders
have now started considering 'nationalism' as trivial and have started giving
priority to 'vote bank' and 'choice of vote bank'. Rahul Gandhi's behavior is
not only against parliamentary decorum but is also weakening the country's
security policy. The country has full right to know at whose behest the
opposition leaders stand against India. Modi government and the people of the
country stand with the army and nationalism. It is now the need of the hour to
teach such 'unbridled statement givers' a lesson in the dignity of democracy
and patriotism.
