Bhubaneswar, 7 June (H.S.): In a significant tech-enabled initiative aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience, the Puri district administration has launched the ‘Shree Jagannatha Dham’ mobile application. The app is designed to provide devotees with real-time, authenticated information related to the 12th-century Shree Jagannath Temple, including rituals, schedules, and major events such as the annual Rath Yatra.

Announcing the launch via social media platform X officials stated that the app will offer comprehensive details on the ‘Nitis’ (rituals) of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, along with specific timings and schedules. This digital tool will assist pilgrims in planning their visits more effectively by providing structured access to temple activities and important ceremonial information.

The app also features regular updates on the world-renowned Rath Yatra, along with notifications about other significant celebrations and events observed at the temple throughout the year.
