Amravati, 07 June (HS): Fourteen people of a

marriage party were seriously injured as the Cruiser car in which they were

travelling collided with an auto-rickshaw near Nimbhari diversion on Anjangaon

Surji-Daryapur road.

The Cruiser (MH 22 U 3154) was carrying a marriage

party from Daryapur to Anjangaon Surji when it collided head-on with an

Auto-rickshaw (MH 27 AF 3076) going to Daryapur from Anjangaon Surji. The Cruiser

veered off the road and collapsed sideways. Twelve passengers of the vehicle

received serious injuries, and some others received minor injuries. The

travellers in the auto-rickshaw also received injuries. The injured were rushed

to the Anjangaon Rural Hospital. The critically inured were referred to

Achalpur and Amravati hospitals.
