New Delhi, June 7 (H.S.): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Bollywood actor Dino Morea to appear next week as part of a money laundering investigation connected to a ₹65 crore scam involving the cleaning of the Meethi River. Official sources indicate that the summons follows a search at Morea's Mumbai residence, and he is known to be close to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray.

This marks the first official summons from the ED for Morea, although he had previously been questioned twice by the Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing regarding the same case, linked to suspected financial irregularities in desilting activities conducted from 2007 to 2021.
