Lucknow, 7 June (HS): Committed to

converting Uttar Pradesh into Uttam Pradesh, the Yogi government is focusing on

creating large-scale government infrastructure to meet future demands. As part

of this goal, the state is pressing for the prompt completion of 95 significant

construction projects distributed over 20 critical departments, in accordance

with direct directives from the CM office.

Officials here on Saturday stated the Public Works Department (PWD) has

established a thorough roadmap to carry out this effort. According to the proposal, the Building Cell

would oversee the development of these projects, which are anticipated to cost

Rs 18,767 crore. The projects comprise a

variety of residential and non-residential infrastructure, such as administrative

offices and departmental buildings.

According to the execution plan, the Home Department would lead with 35

projects totaling Rs 6,550 crore.

In addition, major infrastructure

construction is taking place for the Medical Education, Prison, and Higher

Education sectors.

The progress on these initiatives

is proceeding quickly. Of the 95

projects, 26 are already 76% to 99% complete, with 10 projects moving steadily

toward 51% to 75% completion. Meanwhile,

five projects are presently 26% to 50% complete, four of which are connected to

the Prison Department. Notably, 17 projects

have already been finished within record time. The Medical Education Department has the

second most projects to be completed under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement,

and Construction) model. The total cost

of these projects will be Rs 5,357 crore. The Higher Education Department has

six building projects finished at a cost of Rs 773 crore, while the Prison

Department has seven projects that will cost Rs 1,334 crore to complete.

Similarly, the Law Department will

finish three projects worth Rs 1,227 crore.

The goal is to finish three projects for the Medical Health and Family

Welfare Department at a cost of Rs 312 crore.

At the same time, three building projects for the Micro, Small, and

Medium Enterprises Department would be completed for a total of Rs 324 crore. According

to the action plan, two works for the Minority Welfare Department will cost Rs

229 crores, two works for the Revenue and Disaster Department will cost Rs 350

crores, two works for the Labor Department will cost Rs 149 crores, and two

construction works for the Rajya Sampatti Vibhag will cost Rs 182 crores.

In addition, one project was

proposed for several departments, including Rs 267 crore for AYUSH Department,

Rs 153 crore for Secondary Education Department, Rs 388 crore for Sports

Department, Rs 103 crore for Civil Aviation Department, Rs 95 crore for

Appointments and Personnel Department, Rs 187 crore for Finance Department, Rs

277 crore for Animal Husbandry Department, Rs 434 crore for Agriculture

Education and Research Department, and Rs 65 crore for Reli.

Notably, nine of the 21 projects given to the

Medical Education Department have been finished, six are going between 76% and

99%, and one is between 50% and 75% complete.

finished, with 12 projects proceeding between 76% and 99%..
