Jalgaon, 07 June (HS): Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief
Minister Eknath Shinde came to help a kidney patient woman, who
missed the Mumbai flight by a whisker. Her kidney transplant operation was
scheduled in Mumbai. Shinde, through Minister Girish Mahajan, was requested to help
her in the time of distress. Shinde immediately allowed her to travel in his
chartered plane and also enquired about her health, and the doctor scheduled to
operate.
Eknath Shinde was in Jalgaon’s Muktainagar to attend
a Palkhi procession programme of Sant Muktabai, and was returning to Mumbai
after the event. A kidney patient, Shital Patil from Jalgaon, who missed the
Mumbai flight, was helped by Shinde. Shinde said that two officials of his team
could wait to accommodate Shital Patil in his chartered plane. Shinde as DCM against
proved he is ‘Dedicated to the Common Man’ (DCM). He also ensured that Shalini Patil
was transported from Mumbai airport to the designated hospital by an ambulance.
