Bhubaneswar, 6 June (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior BJP leader and former MLA Mohammad Rafiq. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described the late leader as a humble, unblemished, and popular organiser as well as a dedicated politician.

Majhi noted that Rafiq not only served as the State President of the BJP Minority Morcha but also played an active role in social and cultural affairs as the Vice President of the Sohela Durga Puja Committee. He stated that Rafiq’s demise is an irreparable loss to both the party and society.

Highlighting his long-standing commitment to public service, the Chief Minister said that Rafiq’s contributions will always be remembered. He offered prayers for the departed soul and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
