Gorakhpur, 6 June (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that

it should be the responsibility of a popular government to provide necessary

facilities and resources as per the needs of any civilized society. Provision

of facilities and resources also becomes a platform for problem solving. Our

effort should be to make the life of different sections of society easier by

providing them the best facilities and arrangements as per their income.

CM Yogi was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the city's second

Kalyan Mandapam built in Surajkund Colony on Friday. This Kalyan Mandapam has

been built by the Municipal Corporation in an area of ​​35500 square feet at a

cost of Rs 4.52 crore. At the inauguration ceremony of Kalyan Mandapam, the

Chief Minister said that Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation is the first municipal

corporation in the state which took the initiative to build Kalyan Mandapam to

conduct auspicious programs of the low and middle income group people in a

systematic manner. If a place like Kalyan Mandapam is available for auspicious

work for Rs 11 to 25,000 then the function can be done very easily, well and

cheaply. Apart from this, five more Kalyan Mandapams are under construction by

the Municipal Corporation. The Chief Minister said that he has given the entire

money of the MLA fund for the Kalyan Mandapam. He said that institutions like

Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation can become a standard for other bodies.

Emphasis on Safe City along with Smart City: CM Yogi said that the vision of

Smart City given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has to be transformed into

Safe City as well. We have to build a city where every person of the society

including daughters, businessmen, children, elites can feel safe. For this,

strong arrangements will have to be made so that those who dare to breach the

security know what price they will have to pay for it. To realize the concept

of Safe City, CM Yogi appealed that every person should install cameras outside

their house, this technology will become a big medium of security.

Mohalla Samiti should be formed in every ward for creating awareness about

environment and cleanliness: Motivating the citizens for cleanliness and

environment conservation, the Chief Minister said that for any good system,

initiatives have to be taken and it is a collective responsibility. He said

that PM Modi gives priority to cleanliness. It should be the responsibility of

all of us. On this occasion, the CM appealed to the councilors to form Mohalla

Samitis in their wards. Monitoring of cleanliness should be the responsibility

of this committee and along with this; the committees should also be associated

with plantation and environment conservation.

Gorakhpur is setting an example in public welfare along with development: Ravi
