Howrah, 5 June (H.S.): The decomposed body of a youth was found in a bush behind the Public Works Department office near Munshirhat Chandni crossing in Jagatballabhpur in Howrah district on Thursday. However, the deceased could not be identified till the time of filing the news. Based on the initial investigation, the police suspect that he has been murdered.

According to police sources, on Thursday morning, local people saw the dead body lying in the bush behind the Public Works Department office. On information, the police reached the spot. Primarily, the police suspect that the youth was murdered somewhere else and thrown in the bush here. According to police sources, no injury marks have been found on his body. The body has been recovered and sent for post-mortem.

Investigators said that the real cause of death will be clear only after the post-mortem report comes. A police officer said, the local people first informed us about this. Efforts are on to identify the deceased.
