New Delhi, June 5 (H.S.): Positive signals are evident in the global market today, with American markets closing strong in the previous session. Dow Jones futures show a slight increase, while European markets experienced continuous buying, maintaining a bullish atmosphere. The S&P 500 index closed with a marginal gain of 0.01 percent at 5,970.81 points, and the Nasdaq ended up 0.32 percent at 19,460.49 points, despite Wall Street indices slipping towards the end. The FTSE index in Europe closed up 0.16 percent at 8,801.29 points, the CAC index gained 0.52 percent at 7,804.67 points, and the DAX index rose 0.76 percent to 24,276.48 points.

Asian markets are also showing a buying trend today; out of nine markets, eight indices are in the green, with only the Nikkei index down 0.43 percent at 37,585.72 points. The GIFT Nifty is trading up 0.34 percent at 24,799 points, while the Taiwan Weighted index has risen 0.26 percent to 21,673.91 points. The KOSPI index has made significant gains of 1.14 percent at 2,802.34 points, alongside other indices like the Jakarta Composite and SET Composite, which are trading up 0.82 percent and 0.69 percent, respectively.
