Bhubaneswar, 5 June (H.S.): Chief Minister Mohan Majhi marked World Environment Day by reiterating his government's commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation. In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister emphasised that protecting nature is not a matter of choice, but a collective responsibility.
“Our Government is taking concrete steps like introducing electric buses, expanding renewable energy, increasing afforestation, and strengthening wildlife protection to build a greener and more sustainable future,” Majhi stated.
He urged citizens to reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding Odisha’s rich natural heritage and promoting eco-friendly living practices that benefit both present and future generations.
