Srinagar, 5 June (H.S.): To commemorate the 11 years of decisive governance by the Modi Government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir today held district level workshops under “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak”.
Sat Sharma, president, J&K BJP addressed a workshop of district Jammu led by its president Rajesh Gupta, at party office, Kachi Chawni Jammu.
BJP vice-president and MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi, BJP secretary and MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta, Prabhari Rajiv Charak and former Mayor JMC Rajinder Sharma also addressed the workshop.
Ayodhya Gupta, Vikas Choudhary, Purnima Sharma, district team, Mandal presidents, former Councillors and the Abhiyan convenors and team members participated in the meeting.
Addressing to the party works, Sat Sharma recounted the achievements of the Modi Government during the last 11 years and termed it as the Amrit Kaal for development.
“The Modi Government acted decisively to develop the Indian society socio-economically. India witnessed unprecedented infrastructure development in all essential fields,” he said.
Sharma lauded the bravery of Indian Armed Forces in Operation Sindoor and termed it as a historic moment.
He asserted PM Modi as a hardcore patriot has strengthened Bharat, while working on the vision of ‘Vishwa Guru Bharat’.
Yudhvir Sethi enumerated various programmes to be conducted under “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak” and asked for mass awareness programmes on issues concerning natural resources like rivers, ponds, plantations, water conservation, energy conservation and optimal utilization, saving other flora and fauna, disposal of garbage and other issues.
Arvind Gupta asked the party cadre to conduct different programmes on the environment day on June 5th.
He compared the dismal performance of UPA Government with the good governance of NDA and prompted the party activists to take this achievement-based performance to the masses.
Rajiv Charak asked the party activists to conduct public programmes on the Yoga Diwas on June 21st and the dark “Emergency” days imposed by the Congress Government on June 25th 1975.
Rajesh Gupta shared the blueprint of the programmes to be conducted under “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak”, while insisting that the party cadre will conduct these programmes at the ground level.
Ravikant Sharma, general secretary, Jammu District conducted the workshop proceedings and Suneet Raina, general secretary presented the vote of thanks.
Similar workshops were also conducted in other districts including, Jammu North, Jammu Border, Basohli, Nowshera and Rajouri.
Meanwhile, to strategize and mobilize efforts for the upcoming professionals’ meets and exhibitions scheduled to be held on June 10 and 11 across all districts of Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting was chaired by Rakesh Mahajan, incharge BJP All Cells.
The meeting was attended by Gaurav Gupta, BJP Spokesperson, Ved Prakash Sharma, Co-Incharge All Cells and other senior cell representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Mahajan said the initiative is part of the ongoing ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak’ fortnight (Pakhwada) being celebrated to commemorate 11 successful years of the Modi Government at the Centre.
He appealed to all BJP Cell Convenors and district presidents to ensure effective execution and enthusiastic participation, reflecting the strength and impact of 11 years of transformative governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
