New Delhi, June 4 (HS): Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal's official visit to Italy on June 4-5, 2025, aims to enhance bilateral economic cooperation following his activities in France. Goyal will chair the 22nd session of the India-Italy Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation (JCEC) alongside Italy's Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani. The visit seeks to strengthen trade and investment ties, advancing strategic relations with European partners.

In Brescia, Goyal will lead a high-level Indian business delegation at the India-Italy Growth Forum, focused on fostering investment and business relationships between leading enterprises from both nations. This forum will align efforts in innovation and sustainability, reflecting the growing political and economic aspirations between India and its European partners.
